26 Jan 2022The refurbishment of the children’s ward at Whangārei Hospital is focussed on creating a calm and caring environment to help support recovery and provide a less stressful experience for both children and their families.
The Lindsay Foundation is delighted to donate $25,000 to the Northland Community Foundation to assist with the Whangārei Children’s Ward Refurbishment appeal that will ultimately help tamariki recover more quickly and ensure they are less likely to regress in their health.
Our donation will go towards providing items such as toys and other entertainment equipment for children to enable the new ward to provide a service that goes beyond a traditional clinical setting.
