17 Mar 2022The Lindsay Foundation is thrilled to support Philips Search & Rescue Trust by providing vital mechanical CPR machines for their four central North Island based rescue helicopters.
The mechanical CPR machines are a very welcome addition to the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter (Waikato, King Country and the Coromandel), the TECT Rescue Helicopter (Coastal Bay of Plenty), the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter (Taupo and the Lakes Region) and the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter (Manawatu-Whanganui).
These machines will transform the way CPR is performed within a rescue helicopter, and will greatly improve health outcomes for patients who require CPR while en route to specialist medical treatment.
