Rainbow Place’s priority is to improve the quality of life for children living with a life limiting illness and supporting their parents, caregivers, and families.
It is a service that provides parents with additional clinical and emotional support by a caring team of professionals dedicated to the needs of their child both in their home, in hospital, or at Hospice Waikato.
A significant part of the service focusses on respite care, which provides families with time off from the taxing healthcare routines, sleepless nights and the emotional stress associated with caring for a child with a life limiting illness.
Rainbow Place is a unique and incredibly special charity that does great work in the Waikato for children and families going through really rough times. We are hugely proud to be supporting the incredible work they do.
